
Dustin Britt (they/them) holds a Master of Arts in Education from East Carolina University and has worked as a theatre maker in the triangle for more than twenty-five years as a director, actor, designer, intimacy choreographer, writer, critic, and teacher. They specialize in student, community, and professional theatre, dance, cinema, music, and comedy as well as arts accessibility, disability justice, and queer politics.
Dustin is a script reader for the National Playwrights Conference and OdysseyStage, a judge for the DPAC Rising Star Awards, a jury member at the Nevermore Film Festival, and sits on board of the OutSouth Queer Film Festival. They have won BroadwayWorld Regional Awards for stage direction, acting, and costume design. Their arts writing has appeared in Indy Week, Carolina Parent, Pedal Fuzz, and Chatham Life & Style, where they have been the managing editor and graphic designer since its founding in 2018.
